I arrived on Salt Spring 5 short years ago, but dove into community work from the very start!

Drawing on my communications work with political and climate organizations, I jumped into the housing issue and fundraising for the Salt Spring Community Park in my first year, and have since raised funds for a home for Stqeeye' as well as the Tsawout land purchase.

I’ve also helped put on major community gatherings about food security and housing, co-created events including the Indigenous Peoples Weekend and Hands Across the Water, and brought light to issues surrounding housing, climate and resilience in my work on revising Salt Spring's Official Community Plan.
